2026 Math League Finals and Summer Tournament, Grades 1-2
- The 2026 Math League Finals and Summer Tournament for Grades 1–2 is scheduled to be held in Shanghai, China, from July 11 to July 13, 2026. Activities will take place daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will include the Finals as well as American mathematics learning programs. Students in Grades 1–2 who achieve outstanding combined scores in the 2025–2026 Math League Preliminary and Semi-Final Rounds are eligible to apply for the 2026 Math League Finals and Summer Tournament for Grades 1–2.
- The 2026 Math League Finals and Summer Tournament for Grades 1-2 will include individual and team finals. Details are pending.
- The math curriculum during the Finals and Summer Tournament primarily consists of American "gifted" classes.
- 2026 Math League Finals and Summer Tournament Schedule (Tentative) for Grades 1-2
- “Pre-competition learning and training” includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Analysis of Finals exam questions.
- Curriculum and exercises from American “gifted” classes designed to cultivate students’ creative thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Improvement of English reading comprehension skills related to mathematics.
- Eight hours of live online instruction taught by senior professors from tMath League organizing committee, fluent in both Chinese and English.
- Second-grade students who participate in the 2026 Math League Finals and Summer Tournament (Shanghai) will be eligible to participate in the 2027 Math League Finals and Summer Tournament held in the United States. First-grade students who participate in the 2026 Math League Finals and Summer Tournament (Shanghai) will be eligible to participate in the 2028 U.S. Math League Finals and Summer Tournament held in the United States.
- Following the Finals and Summer Tournament, the Math League organizing committee awards certificates of completion to all participating students. Finalists also receive certificates of achievement.
- The Math League organizing committee awards volunteer certificates to students who actively and enthusiastically assist teachers and fellow students during the Finals and Summer Tournament.

- Participating in the Finals of a world-renowned mathematics competition provides an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their mathematical talent and abilities. Award-winning students will receive certificates of achievement, all participants will receive certificates of completion, and students who actively assist teachers and peers will receive volunteer certificates.
- Students will experience American “gifted” classes designed to stimulate interest in mathematics and science, foster higher-level thinking, and broaden academic horizons.
